A headshot can begin as a real photograph and later pass through an AI editor. Background replacement, retouching, and generative edits may leave source information in the export. Scan the final file rather than assuming a small edit leaves no record.
For portfolios, team portraits, and product photographs, viewers care about what the picture represents. Explain material edits when that context matters. Removing metadata does not establish that an image is authentic.
